As scholar-artists, we treasure direct live human interaction. We also recognize that in the 21st century live interactions can be enhanced and extended through the use of digital technologies in the classroom, in the design and production process, in rehearsals and in performance. Funding from the International Program for Creative Collaboration and Research has made it possible to create four prototype classrooms which, in addition to providing our students and faculty with access to the latest in technology, allow them to interact with collaborators world-wide.
